Xolile Mbambo is a feisty 18-year-old, who is full of life and potential. Raised by a Christian fam-ily, she has always been a humble girl who lived by the teachings of her elders and proved to be a visionary at a tender age being involved in sustainable school projects and recognised for her outstanding academic and leadership qualities.
Xolile spends most of her time reading and indulging in challenging yet informative discussions around the issues of human rights and education. She is well versed in public speaking, having for the past three years been a keynote speaker in various schools within her community; in-cluding, Mzingwenya primary school, Mnotho primary school, Hill 70 primary school and Sikhu-langemfundo Senior Secondary.
“I was privileged to be under the guidance of my grandmother, who instilled good morals and teachings in me, which came in handy and have shaped me to the woman I am today, more con-siderably because of the times we live in, where we as teenagers are engulfed with a number of social issues and are lured to aslant from the advices of our elders”.
After completing her Matric, Xolile was determined to pursue a career in Accounting and took a step to apply for a Diploma in Accounting which she got admitted to at the Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT).
