The RBIDZ implements a structured Occupational Health and Safety Management System aligned with ISO 45001, focusing on risk identification, hazard prevention, legal compliance and continuous improvement in health and safety performance. Management, employees and stakeholders share responsibility for identifying hazards and managing health and safety risks.

Standards are benchmarked against leading international best practices to ensure that quality, environmental and occupational health and safety practices meet international standards and regulatory requirements.

SHE Committee meetings promote the sharing of best practices and continuous improvement in health and safety performance within the organisation. In addition, the Tenant's Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Forum provides a collaborative platform for RBIDZ and its tenants to share experiences and information, engage on areas of common interest, discuss SHE performance and strengthen the safety culture across the Zone.
